SENIORS CAN DO MORE!

Association of Eastern Initiatives together with our partner JUMP – Gioventù in riSalto from Italy, we are implementing an EU-funded project titled Seniors Can Do More!

Our proposal was highly acclaimed and achieved the highest ranking in Poland in the application round for Key Action 2 – Small-Scale Partnerships (KA210-ADU).

We plan to:

• organize international workshops for seniors and adult educators
• host meetings for seniors in Poland and Italy to promote mutual understanding, cultural exchange, shared values, and joint learning (including first aid, artistic self-therapy, and digital skills workshops)

Our goals are:

• to promote social and digital inclusion of people aged 60+ and improve their well-being
• to strengthen digital competencies
• to explore diverse perspectives and jointly discover the values and opportunities of the European Union
• to foster positive international relationships and enhance project development capabilities

Nasza oferta została doceniona i osiągnęła najwyższy w Polsce wynik na liście rankingowej w naborze wniosków:  AKCJI 2 Partnerstwa na małą skalę (KA210-ADU). Planujemy:

✅międzynarodowe warsztaty dla seniorów i edukatorów osób dorosłych

✅spotkania dla seniorów w Polsce i we Włoszech: poznawanie siebie nawzajem, swojej kultury, wspólnych wartości i wspólną naukę (pierwsza pomoc, warsztaty  artystyczne autoterapeutyczne i cyfrowe)

Cele to;

🎯włączenie społeczne i cyfrowe osób w wieku 60+ i podniesienie ich dobrostanu.

🎯wzmocnienie kompetencji cyfrowych,

🎯poznanie innych punktów widzenia,  wspólne odkrywanie wartości i możliwości Unii Europejskiej,

🎯budowanie dobrych relacji międzynarodowych i podnoszenie możliwości projektowych

#ERASMUSPLUS

ERASMUS Days. On October 18, 2025, we celebrated Erasmus Days with our guests from Italy, including senior project participants and non-governmental organizations from Hrubieszów. Among those present were: the Association of Active Cultural Animators, the LUMEN Sobriety Association, Hrubieszów on Bikes, the Volunteer Fire Department Association, the Association of Village Heads of the Hrubieszów Commune, the Center for Cultural and Archaeological Heritage of the Hrubieszów Commune, and the Rural Women's Circle in Wolica.

There was some karaoke, some dancing, great food, and a quiz about the European Union, Poland, and Italy. We participated in a live interview on the program: Hello, Seniors! We shared our reflections on what the project has given us. 

Mobility in Poland - visit in Hrubieszów from 15/10 to 17/10. 

Pierwsze oficjalne spotkanie robocze zespołów projektu: Senior może więcej! Erika i Pietro -JUMP - Gioventù in riSalto, Tomasz i Magdalena Stowarzyszenie Inicjatyw Wschodnich. Ustaliliśmy najważniejsze terminy i szczególny naszych działań. A teraz do roboty ... :)

#ERASMUSPLUS

JUMP is a cultural organization born in Calabria in 2012 from the will of a team of young adults who studied and worked years out of the region Calabria with the same common interest in Europe, its functioning, institutions and values. Coming back to the native land they discovered that many things could have been done to improve the situation and be active players in the wider European framework. Calabria is a beautiful territory, with charming natural places, the Ionian sea and long sandy beaches, high mountains, lovely hills and historical hamlets. On the other hand, the region is poor and underdeveloped with two main problems: youth unemployment and depopulation. JUMP especially wants to solve these problems through the development of opportunities of networking, learning and growing. JUMP works at the international level remaining reliable to the local valorisation and it’s involved in a permanent activity of project design and management.

JUMP’s mission is to give a strong value to the “Youth Spirit” we all should have inside to react and take action. That’s why the second name is “Gioventù in riSalto” that literally means “highlight youth”. While JUMP as the first “keyword” wants to express the launch we should do towards life, all along life.
JUMP has the long term vision that what is international can have an impact on the local and develop social innovation. People make the difference and it’s their union which can bring a positive change.
Thanks to an intensive work of relationship building, international cooperation and continue learning on EU topics, JUMP matured an almost 10 years experience in:
EU project design and management, especially in the topics of social entrepreneurship, social innovation, cultural studies in business, cultural heritage, green economy/ecology, circular economy, innovation in education and game-based learning;
Teachers training on many topics which are the result of a continuous research of experts and teacher trainers;
Organization of events;
Web-design and web-content production
Video-making
Social media dissemination and marketing
